APPLICATION FOR ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

To apply for Associate Membership please submit three (3) copies of your C.V., including details of relevant training, work experience, the number of hours of personal therapy you have been engaged in, as well as details of your past and current supervision, if applicable. Please provide a copy of the Diploma or Degree that was awarded by by your training institute to confirm that you have satisfactorily completed the necessary training program in Somatic Psychotherapy. This should accompany a letter which includes some personal details about yourself and states why you wish to become an Associate member. In this letter please also indicate that you are willing to abide by the Association's Code of Ethical Conduct.

Your application will be considered at the next meeting of the Membership Committee. Following this meeting, you will be invited to a short interview with two clinical AASP members. You will subsequently receive a letter advising of the outcome of the interview and details concerning your membership commencement date and the fees due.
